Special Cleanliness initiatives by Eastern Railway Kanchrapara Workshop CWM

On 24th April an inspection was conducted by Shri Subhash Chandra. Chief Workshop Manager/Kanchrapara Workshop at the loco and carriage complex of the workshop to check the existing staff amenities and to improve it to high standards of cleanliness, better amenities and infrastructure at Kanchrapara Workshop.
Key areas for improvement have been identified that includes drainage issues around the carriage complex canteen and turntable areas, accumulation of water inside the turntable, presence of waste material in front of the shops, .better amenities requirements for staff and ladies common, hygiene concerns regarding toilets and urinals, conditions of the area around water filters, and necessary towards upliftment of standard of staff restrooms.
Chief Works Manager encouraged all concerned officers to take immediate action to address all these concerns and to ensure a better working environment for all staff.
